Preparing for the installation of the ATG oil level monitoring system.

Site preparation before installing the ATG oil level measurement system is crucial. The quality of the installation of the automatic tank measurement system and accessories significantly impacts safety, measurement accuracy, and lifespan. Please follow the manufacturer's specifications for safe operation and ensure installation and operation comply with the safety regulations of the Department of Energy Business. A 1-meter distance should be maintained between the probe and the oil suction or delivery pipe, as oil movement affects accuracy. To achieve accurate readings across all probe oil level measurement ranges, if necessary, install the probe close to the suction or delivery pipe using an open-ended guide pole. During installation, keep the probe vertically straight; bending will damage it. Adjust the delivery pipe outlet direction to be opposite to the probe for accurate and precise tank oil level measurements.

The standards and quality of installation of automatic fuel tank metering systems and accessories significantly impact safety, data quality, measurement accuracy, and lifespan. Please follow the manufacturer's specifications for safe operation and compliance with Department of Energy Business regulations. A distance of more than 1 meter should be maintained between the probe head and the discharge and suction pipes; otherwise, oil ripple will affect the probe's measurement performance. During installation, the probe should not be bent or damaged, and the discharge pipe outlet should be directed opposite to the probe.

Riser pipe specifications : Diameter 100 mm, vertically welded pipe as shown in the illustration, located under the water-resistant manhole cover. The inner wall of the riser pipe must be smooth and free of welding slag.

Cover : Cable hole at the center of the flange, secured with G1/2 screws for cable passage and sealing. Please see the image on the side.

Communication Cable Installation Requirements : All communication cables must be routed through steel conduit, laid at least 300 mm below ground level, with a minimum spacing of 200 mm between conduits. Each communication cable for each probe must be placed in a separate conduit. Cables from the control unit to the probe must be installed completely, without any splices along the way. For safety, we recommend using RVVP4×0.5 (or larger) shielded cables that comply with a capacitance requirement of no more than 100pF per foot. For cable lengths less than 300 m, the shielding layer of the cable from the probe must be connected to the PE port of the console. Cable protection in the explosion-proof junction box should be thoroughly wrapped with black electrical tape. The steel shielding conduit should be connected to the fuel pump grounding system. The ends of the conduit inside the control room must be injected with silicone rubber to ensure a seal and prevent oil vapors from entering the control room.

Control Room Requirements : Electrical system requirements: AC220V/50Hz ±10%. Power supply must be same phase and in the same location (neutral wire on the left and power wire on the right). Ensure the grounding is fully connected and should be connected to the office ground and tank ground. Do not connect the neutral wire to the ground wire. Do not mix the connections between the neutral and ground wires. A grounding device or grounding plate should be located near the console. This grounding device or grounding plate must be properly connected to the ground rod and balanced with the tank area. The ATG system uses the tank area's shared ground, and the probe communication cable conduit should not share the same conduit as other cables.
